Abstract

TO study of the oxygen storage material of air cathode is crucial for increasing performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cell.Using the MnO2 as oxygen storage materials,a MnO2-Pt/C catalysts were prepared and is used to replace the conventional Pt/C in air cathode. The electrochemical performance of air cathode composed of MnO2 supported on Pt/C and the properties of fuel cell composed of MnO2-Pt/C were investigated by using the CV,galvanostatic dischange method and TEM.
