Abstract

The corrosion failure behavior of marine steel is affected by stress,which exists in offshore structures at sea_mud region.In order to conduct the study of stress on the electrochemical response of a selected steel,a kind of natural sea_mud containing sulfate reducing bacteria(SRB) was collected.The electrochemical response of cyclic stress of the specimen with and without cracks in sea_mud was analyzed.
