WFCC 2024: electrocatalysis for energy and environmental technology

Journal of Electrochemistry will be launching a Virtual Special Issue (VSI) in July 2024. This special issue is for the 2024 World Fuel Cell Conference (WFCC), held on 07-10 July 2024, at Ningbo International Conference Center, Zhejiang Province, China.

Special issue information:

The 2024 World Fuel Cell Conference (WFCC 2024) https://www.iahe-fcd.org/wfcc2024 is a multi-disciplinary conference that covers the latest developments and advancements in fuel cells, from fundamentals, to advanced materials, design, engineering, products, and applications. It will be of particular value and interest to those in the relevant fields.

The conference will be held at Ningbo International Conference Center, Zhejiang Province, China on 7-10 July 2024.

The main topics of WFCC 2024 virtual special issue were focused on Fuel cell and Hydrogen Technologies, including but not limited to:

  • Fuel Cell

Types of fuel cell: PEMFC, DMFC, SOFC, PAFC, AFC.

Materials and components: catalysts and their supports. GDLs, MPLs, MEAs, bipolar plates, membranes, ionomers.

Modelling design, optimization: materials, cells, stacks, systems

Applications: mobile, stationary, portable, specials

  • Hydrogen

Hydrogen production: Electrolysis (PEMEC, SOEC), reforming, photolysis, anaerobic

Hydrogen storage: compressed gas, cryogenic liquid, metal hydride, chemicals, container
