Abstract

This paper is the first part of a comprehensive review of laser applied in electrochemistry. At first, it briefly introduces the advantages, history and exporimental setup of laser electrochamistry. Then it reviews laser applications in electrochemical deposition, polymerization,etching, polishing, corrosion, adsorption/desorption and reactions as well as photoelectrochemical switching and storage.
