Abstract
A series of catalysts, Pt-WO3/C, Pt/Ru/C and Pt-Ru-WO3/C were prepared by chemical reduction deposition. Electrocatalytic oxidation of methanolon different catalyst/Nafion membrane electrodes was studies by voltammetry and current-potential polarization. The results indicated that the catalytic activity order of different catalysts is as follows: Pt-Ru-WO3/C > Pt-Ru/C > Pt-WO3/C. At the same time, influences of methanol concentrations and catalyst proportion on performances of anodes were also studies.
