Abstract
The values of entropy change for Br-/Br2 and Pb/Pb2+ electrode reactions were measured by use of the ac electrochemical-thermal method. The influence of alkaline pretreatment on the electrochemical behavior for a polypyrrole electrode was also investigated by this method. It was found that after alkaline pretreatment the eletrochemical activity of polypyrrole electrode was decreased obviously, but it kept partly electrochemical-thermal characteristic as same as that before pretreatment.
