Abstract
The electrochemical behaviors of vanadium(V) compounds(NH4VO3 and V2O5) in H2SO4 solutions were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and rotation ring disk electrode (RRDE) techniques. There were three anodic peaks and three cathodic peaks appeared on the CV plots at inert Pt electrode. But compared with the V2O5, the CV plot of NH4VO3 had one more anodic peak. There also appeared four anodic peaks at RRDE plots. We carefully analyzed these peaks and made some reasonable initial explaination.
