Abstract

The synthesis,characterization and electrochemical property of K2FeO4 for positive materal of lithium ion battery were studied. K2FeO4 with low purity was gained through the reaction of KCIO and Fe(NO3)3 in KOH solution and after recrystalization the purity of K2FeO4 reached 97%～98%. The methods of XRD and FTIR were used to measure the structure of K2FeO4 and its initial discharge performance was tested.
