Abstract

The deadsorption behavior of four inhibitors on N80 steel with and without carbonate film was investigated by polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. It was found that, for different inhibitors, deadsorption behavior and adsorbability between with and without carbonate film are different. Furthermore, acidic inhibitor and small size molecule inhibitor shows different inhibition behavior.
