Abstract
Electrochemical behavior of methyl green in different kinds of solution and the supramolecule system of methyl green-cyclodextrin were studied. Inclusion constants of four cyclodextrin with emthyl green were determined by “electric current method”. The order of inclusion ability is HP-β-CD,β-CD,SBE-β-CD and CM-β-CD. The molar ratio of inclusion complexes of methyl green with CDs is 1:2. A possible mechanism was reported for methyl green.
